Educational Data Systems began serving the educational community in 1974, when our founder, Bill Gilmore, started working out of his home to provide computerized evaluation, test scoring, and reporting services to Northern California school administrators. Bill's own goal was to create tools for and provide information to educators to help them make important, informed decisions for their organizations and students. He embraced the newest computer technologies and built his services around his customers' needs, valuing the personal relationships he developed. These things continue today to be our company's greatest focus and strength.

Since 1974, we've grown tremendously, moving out of our living rooms and into a series of larger offices, and finally finding our home in the community of Morgan Hill, California. Our work now varies from simple, short-term data collection projects to complex, large scale, multi-year assessments. While helping our customers design and implement their assessment programs, we prioritize error-free data, customized end products, and sincere and open relationships.
