Educational Data Systems assisted the State of Oregon in producing and distributing materials for the Oregon Statewide Assessment as well as collecting and scoring exams. Reports were prepared at EDS for distribution statewide. Further, EDS supported the assessment with a variety of Web services, including secure data delivery.

The Oregon Statewide Assessment is an effort not only to gauge student progress, but to hold students accountable for high academic standards as measured by a series of annual tests conducted at benchmark grade levels. Students achieving minimum standards receive certificates recognizing their abilities.
